Jobberman and Mastercard in collaboration with Centre for Vocational, Skills Acquisition and Entrepreneurship Development (CVSAED), Federal Polytechnic Ayede chapter has organised employability skills training for the students.
In her opening address at the event which held at TETFund Auditorium, Iresa-Pupa Temporary Site of the institution, the acting Rector, Engr. Dr. Temilola Morufat Adepoju, represented by acting Director of Academic Planning, Dr.Saheed Akande Shitu, expressed gratitude to Jobberman and MasterCard together with Opportunity Hub, Ibadan for their collaborating support to train the students on employability skills
“I charged you to be attentive when the training commences. You need to have capacity to think during an interview after your graduation. This training will address the challenges you may face in writing your CV which will make you qualify and be employable”.
In his address, the Registrar, Mr. Akinlolu Akinpade appreciated the acting Director of CVSAED, jobberman and MasterCard, saying that the training was being organized at the appropriate time.
He also advised the students to make good use of it, saying “I charged you to see the training as great opportunity because you will need it after graduation.”
Earlier in his address, the acting Director of CVSAED Mr Oluwaseun Owojori expressed gratitude to the acting Rector, Engr. Dr. Temilola Morufat Adepoju, represented by the acting Director of Academic Planning (DAP), Dr. Saheed Akande Shitu and the Management of the institution for their support for CVSAED always.
Mr. Owojori also thanked the Management Information System (M I S) Coordinator, Mr. Samuel Oladapo, for his effort in facilitating training and appreciated the trainers’ team, Jobberman and MasterCard Foundation as they collaborated with CVSAED for this employability skills training.

The leader of the two teams, Jobbaman and Mastercard, Dr. Sunday Adepoju thanked the management of the institution for giving the team opportunity to train the students, saying that the purpose of the training is for the students to have soft skills that would make the students to be employable.
Dr. Sunday Adepoju said, “We will teach you how to package your Curriculum Vitae (CV), what you need to know for interview and what you need to avoid to qualify and and be employable in any organizatin, adding that there would be presentation of certificates after the training for the participants.”
Mrs. Yetunde Titilope Ogundare, one of the trainers, listed the training modules which included CV writing, Cover letter, job search strategies and salary negotiation.
At the end of the training which commenced at 12 noon, the students of the institution were trained on employability skills and other skills as packaged in the training modules.
The acting Rector, at the end of the training, presented certificates of attendance to all participants.
