The association’s President, Alhaji Abdul-Aziz Badamasi, also urged the new PRO to publicise the association’s achievements and activities to enhance its visibility and promote its contributions to the development of the school.

In September 1979, the institution was upgraded from Baptist Secondary Modern School to Baptist Secondary Grammar School following the takeover of its administration by the then Oyo State Government under the late Governor Bola Ige.
The school has since maintained the values and traditions established by its founding proprietors, with emphasis on academic excellence, moral and religious training, and the development of responsible citizens.
