A former governorship candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) and Ibadan-born businessma, Chief Yekini Adeojo, is dead.
Adeojo died in the early hours of Friday.
Though details of his death are still sketchy as of press time, he is expected to be buried according to Islamic rites, on Friday.
He served as PDP deputy national chairman (South) and was a founding member of the party.
One of his sons, Sherif, is the current chairman of Ido Local Government Area of Oyo State.
