

The Ogbomoso branch of the Nigeria Society of Engineers (NSE) has paid a congratulatory visit to Engr. Dr. Temilola Morufat Adepoju, the new acting Rector of the Federal Polytechnic Ayede, Ogbomoso, pledging collaborative efforts for technical advancement in the institution.

The team of the professionals and scholars in the field of engineering, on Wednesday, was received by Engr. Dr. Temilola Adepoju; the Registrar, Mr. Akinlolu Akinpade and the Bursar, Mr Mufutau Alao of the Polytechnic.
In her welcome address, Dr. Adepoju expressed her sincerest happiness and surprise with the courtesy visit, stating that it is a show of encouragement and call to perform excellently well in the new task.

She said, “I am very glad and surprised with the courtesy visit. In the profession, we encourage and cherish one another. I can’t, in any way, underestimate training instilled in me in Ladoke Akintola University of Technology, Ogbomoso, Oyo state.”
Continuing, she pledged more collaboration, guidance and direction from the NSE for the rapid technical advancement in the Polytechnic.

While congratulating the acting Rector, Engr. Prof Alice Olufunke Oke, the Chairman of NSE, Ogbomoso branch, lauded the Registrar and the Bursar for their staunch support for the acting Rector in piloting the institution to enviable level.
She also pledged support and collaboration with the Polytechnic in any form that can enhance development.
Engr Prof Funmi Osuolale, the Chairman of the Association of Professional Women Engineers of Nigeria (APWEN) Ogbomoso chapter also unveiled her happiness for the appointment of a member as the acting Rector of the Polytechnic, stressing that the acting Rector is known for excellence and dedication.
She further asserted that Dr. Adepoju is known for excellence and dedication while admonishing the incorporation of students as members into the association.
The Registrar, Mr Akinlola Akinpade, on behalf of the Governing Council, Management, staff and students, congratulated the visitors for one of their members who has become the acting Rector of the Polytechnic while soliciting continued co-operation.
