The death of our highly cerebral leader of impeccable character really cane as a rude shock.
Indeed, we, in Oyo State and Nigeria as a whole, are deeply saddened by the passing of Chief Victor Omololu Olunloyo, the first Ibadan man to become the Governor of Oyo State.
Chief Dr. Olunloyo’s remarkable life and legacy will be remembered for generations to come. As a distinguished statesman, he dedicated his life to serving others, leaving an indelible mark on the state and its people. His selfless service, leadership, and vision continue to inspire and motivate others to follow in his footsteps.
Chief Olunloyo’s illustrious career in public service is a testament to his tireless efforts to make a positive impact. He held notable positions, including the first Rector of both The Polytechnic, Ibadan, and Kwara State Polytechnic.
His contributions to education, politics, and humanity will always be cherished. His brilliance, wisdom, and foresight earned him the respect and admiration of his peers and the people he served.
As we mourn the loss of this great leader, we take comfort in the knowledge that his legacy will live on. His impact on the state and its people will be felt for years to come. We offer our deepest condolences to the Olunloyo family and pray that they find strength during this difficult time. May his memory continue to inspire us to make a positive difference in the world.
