The Director of the City Boy Movement, Oyo State, Hon. Femi Onireti, has paid a condolence and solidarity visit to the people of Esinele community in Oriire Local Government Area of Oyo State following the unfortunate abduction of teachers and pupils in the area.
During the visit, Hon. Onireti donated medical equipment and healthcare supplies to support the community and enhance access to basic healthcare services during this challenging period.
He expressed deep concern over their plight.
According to him, interacting with the affected families was an emotional experience, noting that no parent, spouse, or loved one should be subjected to the pain, fear, and uncertainty caused by such an incident.
He reassured the community that hope remains alive, adding that concerted efforts are ongoing to ensure the safe release of the abducted teachers and pupils.
As part of his intervention, Hon. Onireti presented a cash donation of N1 million to the family of the late Michael Oyedokun and announced scholarship awards for his sons, Abiodun and Samuel, to support their education and secure their future.
He commended the resilience of the people of Esinele and appreciated the leadership of the Elesinele, High Chief Tajudeen Abioye, for his efforts during the difficult period.
Hon. Onireti also acknowledged the interventions of the Federal Government under the leadership of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and the Oyo State Government led by Governor Seyi Makinde towards resolving the situation.
He urged Nigerians to continue praying for the victims, their families, and the entire Ahoro Esinele community, expressing hope that peace, comfort, and positive developments would soon prevail.
