President Bola Ahmed Tinubu will on Sunday depart Abuja for Europe to begin a three-week vacation as part of his annual leave.
According to a statement issued on Sunday by his Special Adviser on Information and Strategy, Bayo Onanuga, the President’s first destination will be London, United Kingdom.
“President Bola Ahmed Tinubu will depart Abuja today for Europe to begin a three-week vacation as part of his annual leave,” Onanuga said.
The presidential aide added that London would be the President’s “first stop” during the vacation.
Onanuga said Tinubu is expected to return to Nigeria at the end of the working vacation and resume his official and political engagements.
“President Tinubu is expected to return home after the working vacation to join the hectic campaign for the January 2027 election,” he said.
